FIMFARUM

i friend here in prague, gave me a dvd of an animated film called fimfarum. it may be the best animated film i've ever seen. there are five dark and funny stories, a little like the brothers grimm. i would advise you to watch it, the first time without the subtitles so you can pay attention to the wonderful design and animation. then watch it with subtitles, even though the translation's not perfect, there are some very funny lines. (the devil says to an old woman, "your good deeds today, will absolve you of your past sins" she says, "well there weren't all that many" and the devil replies, "i wouldn't want the job of throwing them over the wall"
